    • Dr Swapna Pradhan is Dean Academics (Full Time Programs) at Prin L N Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research, Mumbai. Her association with the institute started in the year 2004. In the year 2005, she was part of the team that conceptualized and launched the Post Graduate Programme in Retail Management in association with the Future Group. She also worked on the launch of the Retail specialization program and was a part of the core team that designed and launched the Post Graduate Programme in Business Design. Dr Pradhan was awarded the PhD in Management from the SNDT University in the year 2009. She has authored several books in retailing, which include Retailing Management: Text & Cases and Retail Merchandising. Over the years she has authored a number of case studies and presented research papers at national and international conferences. In the year 2008, she was adjudged the Best Teacher in Retail Management by the Dewang Mehta Foundation. Dr Pradhan was awarded the Best Management Teacher award by the Bombay Management Association in 2018.
