    _________________________________________ 'If comedy is your thing, it's hard to match PG Wodehouse and his classic characters Jeeves and Bertie Wooster for hilarious farce.' Irish Daily Mail 'P.G. Wodehouse wrote the best English comic novels of the century' Sebastian Faulks 'Heaven is Right Ho, Jeeves' Hugh Johnson 'Jeeves, I'm engaged.' 'I hope you will be very happy, sir.' 'Don't be an ass. I'm engaged to Miss Bassett.' Bertie is feeling most put out when he finds that his friend Gussie is seeking relationship advice from Jeeves. Meanwhile Aunt Dahlia has asked Bertie to present awards at a school prize-giving ceremony. In a stroke of genius, Bertie realises he can kill two birds with one stone, palming off his prize-giving duties to Gussie by assuring him that the object of his affections will be there. Several terrible misunderstandings later and facing chaos, Bertie turns, yet again, to Jeeves who swiftly and ingeniously saves the day. _________________________________________ 'Sublime comic genius' Ben Elton 'A cavalcade of perfect joy' Caitlin Moran 'Sunlit perfection... Bask in its warmth and splendour' Stephen Fry 'The greatest chronicler of a certain kind of Englishness' Julian Fellowes

    Wow.

    The book is just wonderful.

    I have never used to read humour novels but I'm happy that this one is my first. When I read a few reviews about this book online, I got a fair idea about the book for I read not a single bad review.

    And I dont regret buying the book. Its just too good, especially the Prize distribution. :)

    Those who are not yet into Funny/Humour novels, this is a wonderful book to start.

    Fabulous!

    I loved this book. It was super hilarious from the start to finish. The story was interesting and the characters were great. I really enjoyed reading it. The print and page quality of the book was also very good.

    P.G.Wodehouse=Funny

    Being a Wodehouse book, it has to be funny and humorous. And it was. There are some books which have a bad ending, some which have a bad description. But this book was none of it. It has romance, suspense, jealousy, mystery and not to forget humour. In short, it can be called a remake of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
    Enough said. Now read the book and enjoy!

    good for starters

    a light read. Generously displays the brilliant writing skills of PG Wodehouse. The language is refined and witty. I have been reading since a long time, say 15 years and this was my 1st PG Wodehouse, appreciated it. Was like eating a chocolate mousse; sweet, light and smooth. Quick read. Give it to anybody who wants to initiate reading.

    Excellent book

    All three Jeeves novels I've read so far had me in tears of laughter. What gets you to come back to Wodehouse novels is the witty situations people find themselves in. And Bertie is, to put it in his terms, "in one dashed spot of bother" hereabouts. Suggestion: Read "Code of the Woosters" immediately after this. I read the two in reverse order, but hey, "You don't analyse such sunlit perfection..."
