The Rise of Sivagami is essentially a flashback into the histories ofMahishmati and its people. We already know and wonder about Kattappa and Sivagami. The book also shows a glimpse into the complexities of the movie. Some questions are answered and for the rest, we have to wait for books 2 and 3.

Fantastic.
Great work! Kattapa's and Sivagami's past were always unknown through both the movies. This book is justifiable and one will thoroughly enjoy it. Eagerly waiting for the next one right from the moment I finished reading it.

If you were amazed by the movie Bahubali and love origin stories. This book is a great extension to the franchisee. Only draw back is some where towards the end you feel stretched. But you should read the book as far as I am concerned.

Good Read
The author has done a great job in bringing the story together and it was built up nicely. Details of the characters, their roles and individual attention has helped in getting into the story early. Thus we don't feel puzzled midway. Also each character in Baahubali can be developed into a back story (as in Mahabarata). Really nice to not let Baahubali out of our minds...
