Dr. Shubha Dwivedi. A researcher by profession, Dr. Shubha Dwivedi is an Associate Professor and Head in the Department of Biotechnology, School of Life Science and Technology, IIMT University, Meerut, India. She received her Ph.D. research work from Sustainable Processing and Water Treatment Research Lab, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee under the Guidance of Prof C.B. Majumder, Deptt of Chemical Engineering and Dr. P. Mondal, Deptt of Chemical Engineering, IIT Roorkee. She has more than 16 years of teaching experience and research work in the area of Biochemical Engineering and Environmental Biotechnology. Her area of work has been the eco-friendly technology development for the removal of hazardous contaminants from wastewater. Prof. (Dr) Navneet Sharma is a Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at IIMT University, Meerut U.P, INDIA. He is presently the Dean of School of Life Science & Technology at IIMT University. Earlier he served as Lecturer, Reader, Professor & Head and Director of D.J College of Dental Sciences & Research, Modinagar from 1999 to 2018. He completed his master degree from G.B Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, U.K and Doctorate degree from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, M.P. He has been trained in the institute of repute, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and Indian Agriculture Research Institute, New Delhi. He is having more than 23 years of experience in teaching and academic administration. Prof. (Dr.) Deepa Sharma, presently the Vice-Chancellor of IIMT University, Meerut, has Organic chemistry, Biochemistry and recently Remediation as a area of study. She is the recipient of two gold medals for outstanding meritorious performance in the University.An academician, a researchers, an innovator by work experience, Dr. Deepa Sharma had more than 22 year experience in the field of teaching organic, analytical, instrumentation and environmental chemistry, research, creating IPRs, in converting innovations into reality, enabling entrepreneurial ecosystem in HEI, extending mentorship (Start-up India Mentor Id : 8031f6 ) to start-ups planning & implementing NEP-2020 and NISP 2019. She is the active contributor towards creating Innovation ecosystem at HEI as President IIC cell of the University. She has published/filed/ granted 27 IPRs( Patents, design patents & copyrights).She has organized/attended many seminars, workshops, FDP etc. She has number of papers published in SCI,SCOPUS & UGC.
