All these qualities are evident in the protagonist Ushmi in the Novel ROSHNI KA PAHRA. It is always said that there is a woman behind the success of every man. But why success is a right of a man only? A woman equally deserves the success. But for sure, there might be a man behind her success too. It can be any relation, like brother, father, son, lover, teacher. Mentor, guide or any other man. It is not necessary that there should always be a relation associated with the woman with her supporter. Similar thought of equality and sacrifice is highlighted in the novel. The novel is an important document of feminist emotions and society’s role in grooming up of the half population on earth.
