The firm of Royal Enfield was one of the best-known names of the British motorcycle industry, but curiously its products have never received the adulation bestowed on the products of Triumph, BSA and others. And what other company can boast a model still in popular production sixty years after its launch?

Need something better!
I'm a big fan of RE, and own a Classic 500 myself, so I wanted very much to have something good to read about the company...this is a good coffee table book, to have a look at the few pictures...but in terms of company history and other snippets, there is almost none...most of the book concentrates rather on the technical aspects of every bike RE has released since it's founding..maybe hardcore enthusiasts would love the book, but me...I'd rather read the interesting story.
