The best Indian Novel I have read
I was really blown away by this novel.
The canvas of the novel is huge.
It travels from politics to crime to police to gambling
to a middle class Indian setup thinking.
Every thing is there.
To mix it all together so well and present it is amazing.
Vikram Chandra has just done a great job.
I read this after reading Shantaram, but the canvas of this
is simply too huge, the characters that have been drawn with consummate detail, you almost become friends with each one.

One Word - Excellent
This book is one of the best Novel read by me. A webseries of Netflix named also Sacred Games is based on it. But it is half..... you have to Sacred Games part 2 to complete the full novel. I ordered both at a time 😁🔥

A good book to read. In some parts it is even better than the web series. It is unputdownable if one starts reading. I recieved the book in very good condition. It is an original version of the book. Good Read!
The story line is fictional but borrows heavily from real life characters and their way of living. People in Mumbai will relate to this novel better.
It is like reading a typical bollywood masala potboiler in print. The canvas is huge and so are the number of characters. Some of the chracterization is brilliant while the author could have done better on others.
All in all a good read.

A:answers to your questions: 1) no 2&3) yes, but there're many digressions, especially on storyline and drama, thus dialogues too have changes, though there's more flesh in story thanks to that.
