Sadma tells the story of a beautiful young woman, who, after meeting with a car accident in which she suffers damage to her head, finds herself bereft of the memories of many years and hence her intelligence regresses to that of a seven year old. Not aware of where she is, the young lady ends up in a brothel where a school teacher finds and rescues her from. Soon after, the teacher falls head over heels for her.
