In May 2024, Gleb Davydov (spiritual name Siddharth), a Russian journalist and translator living in Tiruvannamalai, South India, traveled to North India to visit the ashram of Swami Vankhandi Maharaj, also known locally as "Aloo-baba." A realized Master in the lineage of Shankaracharya, he is a genuine Guru in the classical sense of the word.
During his visit, Siddharth conducted several interviews and later supplemented them with the Master’s insightful satsangs, his own observations, and photographs of Maharaj taken over different years. The result is a book that may well become a guide for all seekers of Truth and those devoted to it.
Originally published in Russian under the title The Best Name of God, this book is now available in English in a newly translated edition.
