Samson Foot Drop Splint. - It provides the push that a person needs while walking through a unique strong leaf spring action. - The anatomical design as well as shape allows for even weight distribution that helps with faster healing as it keeps the foot in dorfiflexion position. - Its thin walled polypropylene construction allows it to be used inside a normal shoe. - The full sole plate provides better guidance for the entire foot and enhanced pressure distribution. - Designed to aid in swing phase toe clearance and to reduce planer flexion impact in early stance. Wearing & Fitting Instructions: (1) If you intend to wear the foot drop splint inside of your shoe, it is better to use Sports Shoes which are about 1 or 2 Size bigger than your normal sports shoes / sandals for better comfort. (2) Custom Fit: If the splint is slightly wider or bigger, you can get it cut with the help of a local cobbler or the nearest Orthopaedic Hospital. (3) It is likely that the splint may remain slightly smaller than your foot, which is fine. It will still be able to support your drop foot. (4) Tighten the straps optimally, such that the straps are not too tight or not too loose, for best comfort. (5) You may have to remove the insole from the shoe you want to use it with. If you foot tends to swell a bit, then it is advisable to get the shoes which are about 1 or 2 size bigger. Try first with your normal sports shoes / sandals. (6) Sizes mentioned in the size chart are UK / Indian shoe sizes. Read the size chart carefully before buying.
