I installed this on lenovo ideapad 510. OS cloning and installation is very simple and easy. I used caddy to install this in cd rom drive and clone the os into this and then placed it in primary hdd location and placed hdd into cd rom drive location. Note: if you are swapping the ssd to hdd location, then no need to change the boot order from boot menu. I was mind blown after the first boot with SSD. It boots up within 10 seconds for me. Using a i3 5th gen laptop (model no- lenovo G50-80) with 4gigs of ram... This ssd made my laptop way faster than I thought it would be... Also, don't go for any other ssd, this is just an one time investment.
9.5mm caddy is what you need to place your hhd into the cd drive, and put this ssd in place of your hard disk drive.. That way it makes your system much faster. Dnt put this ssd in a caddy, won't be getting optimum speed.
Also,cloning your OS is easier than in any other ssd since samsung...

I don't have words to express how fast has become by System now. I have purchased Samsung EVO SSD for speeding up my System because the traditional HDD was bottlenecking my hardware to work to its full potential. However, the speed is not for copying files on SSD. An SSD can make your PC start really fast.
