Through the medium of stories and short narrations like Pururava-Urvasi, Dusyata-Visvamitra episodes, teachings of Satapatha Brahmana have been made accessible in an interesting way to the uninitiated general public. The main subject dealt in Satapatha Brahman is Yajna which is the basis of all religions and metaphysical activities in India. The present edition in its three volumes is a collection of fourteen Kandas and with Hundreds Andhyayas along with English translation which throws light on the rich tradition of Satapath Brahmana. About the Author Dr. Jeet Ram Bhatt born on 9th November, 1962 at Bhattwari, Agastyamuni (Uttarakhand). Had his early education in his village and had Post Graduation in Public Administration form H.P. University Simland B.Ed. from Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan New Delhi. In addition to this he obtained Vyakaranacarya from Sampurnanand Sanskrit University Varanasi and Ph.D. in Sanskrit from H.N.B.G. University Shrinagar Uttarakhand. Dr. Bhatt who worked as Lecturer in Sanskrit with Directorate of Education, Delhi. He joined as Deputy Secretary in Delhi Sanskrit Grammar, Public Administration, Sanskrit Textual Study, Literature, Culture, Philosophy and Poetics.
