About Jennifer E. Morris

Jennifer Morris is an award-winning illustrator and children’s book author. She has illustrated several picture books, magazines for kids, greeting cards, and educational materials. She authored and illustrated two Scholastic books May I Please Have a Cookie? and Please Write Back! which sold over 500,000 copies. She was the recipient of the Don Freeman Memorial Grant awarded by the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Morris has a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh and MS in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology. She is currently based out of Massachusetts, where she stays with her husband, two children and a pet rat.
