GOOD PORTABLE HDD
I bought this 2 days back but not from flipkart.
The HDD is simply great , too small and light.just plug and play.
I am using in on windows and linux both.for this u have to format it with NTFS and allocation unit size should be maximum at 64kilobytes then you will get max read and write speed.to do this just right click on the drive in windows (xp or higher) click on format option,then select 64KB as the allocation unit size.I am getting write speed about 30MBPS in USB 2.0.I do...

Checked for speeds on a USB 3.0 laptop and transfer speeds were in the range of 60 to 80 MB/s.
there is no pouch along with it unlike WD My Passport. So, you would need to buy a decent hard disk pouch along with it since its portability is to be used. that would cost minimum of 200 to 400 bucks to the purchase. plus the warrany claims cannot be claimed onsite like WD hard disks
