Why is there a shipping charge for this item?

Sellers with Flipkart Assured waive off the delivery charge for Orders over Rs 500. For Orders under Rs 500, a nominal delivery charge is added per item.

Sellers without Flipkart Assured may or may not add a delivery charge to your Order. This is subject to Seller discretion.

What is the estimated delivery time?

Sellers generally procure and ship the items within the time specified on the product page. Business days exclude public holidays and Sundays.

Estimated delivery time depends on the following factors:

      • The Seller offering the product
      • Product's availability with the Seller
      • The destination to which you want the order shipped to and the Seller's location

Why does the delivery date not correspond to the delivery timeline of X-Y business days?

It is possible that the Seller or our courier partners observe a holiday between the day you placed your order and the date of delivery, which is based on the timelines shown on the product page. In this case, we add a day to the estimated date. Some courier partners and Sellers do not work on Sundays and this is factored in to the delivery dates.

      'Back In Stock Soon'

The item is popular and is sold out. You can however 'book' an order for the product and it will be shipped according to the timelines mentioned by the Seller.

      'Out of Print'

This product is not available because it is no longer published and has been permanently discontinued.

Why does the estimated delivery time vary for each seller?

Delivery times are influenced by product availability, geographic location of the Seller, your shipping destination and the courier partner's time-to-deliver to your location.

Please enter your default pin code on the product page to know more accurate delivery times on the product page itself.

Seller does not/cannot ship to my area. Why?

Enter your pincode on the product page to know whether the product can be delivered to your location.

If you haven't provided your pincode until the checkout stage, the pincode in your last used shipping address will be used to check for serviceability.

Whether your location can be serviced or not depends on:

      • Whether the Seller actually ships to your location
      • Legal restrictions, if any, in shipping particular products to your location
      • The availability of reliable courier partners in your location

At times Sellers prefer not to ship to certain locations. This is entirely at their discretion.

    Description

The Second Jim Corbett omnibus collects three books by Jim Corbett about his life as a hunter and conservationist in the jungles of India and Africa.

    Summary of the Books

    My India

Corbett writes about the country which won his heart and gave him his reputation as a big game hunter: the land of India. He writes about his feelings, his concern for the people and his thoughts on the natural wealth and variety of the culture. This book showcases Corbett’s affection for India and its people.

    Jungle Lore

In this book, Corbett comes the closest he ever has to give readers an autobiography. He writes about his fascination for the jungle, his ideas on the fragile nature of wildlife and the need for conservation. He writes of his affection for Indian natives, the jungles, the Kumaon hills of the Himalayan foothills and his thoughts on the melancholy way in which mankind has forsaken its environment.

    Tree Tops

In his last memoir, Corbett returns readers for one ultimate hunt in the jungles he loves. He writes about his time in the Kenyan game reserves, and he describes the beauty of the wildlife with great verbosity. He gives readers a heartfelt account of his experiences and his observations at the reserve.

    About Jim Corbett

Edward James "Jim" Corbett was a British hunter and tracker-turned-conservationist, writer and naturalist. He is remembered for hunting a large number of wild tigers and leopards in India. A colonel in the British Indian Army, Corbett also wrote Man-Eaters of Kumaon.

    Enriching Memorabilia

The volume is a compilation of three of the most sought-after books penned by the widely-known wildlife lover and ace hunter, Jim Corbett.
    The three books are:
    (01) My India (where the author anthologizes his interaction with the so-called "poor people" of India during the British rule and how their simplicity and loyalty impressed him a great deal)
    (02) Jungle Lore (where the author reminisces about his escapades in the forest areas of Kumaon and his observations of the flora and fauna of th...

    Again manifestly unputdownable!

Many people may think that only the 'jungle' part of Corbett's life is the most interesting. I sincerely suggest them to read this one too which entirely resolves around his personal life. The reading of this book, with the previous omnibus, completes the entire circle of Corbett's life, or rather "journey of life" before enthusiast readers. So, do own the entire collection. Again, as usual, a perfusion of thanks to the Flipkart family.
