Funny and mysterious

I got this book in a giveaway and completed the book in a single sitting. Thoroughly enjoyed the book. The book has a powerful narrative style and has good humour and a tight mystery. The twists kept me hooked and I doubt the book can be put down once its started. I hope to read more about detective Vishal in future.

Superb narrative, very well written

This is one of the best Indian fiction I have read in long time. The book takes you over from first page and its difficult to leave it mid way, the story was running in my mind even when I went to sleep and I had to restart reading it, first thing in the morning next day. Characters hold their ground and consistency and there are no loose areas. You keep guessing the murderer throughout.
The story is very detailed and I must commend the observation of the writer who conveyed it effectively. ...

A Thriller with good humor

In short, the book is a good read!
In detail...what will stay with me from this book is the humor. I was really impressed by the comic timing, the one liners and the book scores full points there. The story line is good and I am sure the only way to put the book down is by finishing it in one sitting. The plot is clever and the narration fast.

I was actually seduced to buy this book by the title itself.. so this s the story of a murder in Kapoor house and detective Vishal Bajaj s hired to find out the culprit.it was quite a good read but the ending could have been better..

Gud thirller

Gripping

Completed the book in a single setting. Once you start the book, it is difficult to put it down till
you have finished it. Excellent narration skills and twists and turns in the plot make this a page turner. The ending is one of the best I have read and was totally unexpected. Hoping that Saurabh Katyal, the author writes a series with Vishal, the detective.

Good book

A must read if you like mystery novels. I really liked reading this book. Is very funny, and the murderer is disclosed on the last page. Good to indian writers charting on uncharted genres and accomplishing so much. I will definitely recommend this book.

Still in hangover of the book!

Book was given by a friend who said this will be good read. Good was an understatement. I don't think I have read a book in a single setting. The plot absorbs you and you only marvel at the craftsmanship displayed by the author in unraveling complex mystery with such simple logic that should have been evident to you as a reader.

This book hooks you like a drug

Mystery writing doesn't get better than this...book was handed to me as unputdownable....i was oblivious to the world while reading...this is one international standard book...kudos to the author....hope to read Saurabh Katyal much more
