Seiko 5 Sports Blueberry GMT SKX Re-interpretation
First released in the 90s, the SKX Seiko 5 Sports watches were a modernised version of the classics updating the reliability and durability of the 1960s originals. The 90s collection offered improved practicality enhanced water resistance, strengthened crystals along with luminous hands and hour markers. These wearable, loveable values still stay strong in todays modernised Seiko 5 Sports designs.
The bi-colour 24-hour bezel is coated in Hardlex, to ensure durability while the GMT hand improves practicality, visibility and legibility. The beads of rice bracelet remains true to the SKX heritage with a five-piece link design that forms a series of small X-shaped patterns.

This is a gem from Seiko!
I remember Seiko being my father's watch since the beginning of my memories. I was seeing a Seiko mechanical watch on my father's wrist from the 1980's. From those days too my father used to tell it's a Japanese watch and is a good one. Everyday before going to office, he used to wind it. It had a dark green dial. So I already knew this brand way back from the 1980's era.
I never thought in today's times I will ever be able to afford a Seiko mechanical watch. But ...
