Great pair of cans!
Before you buy this product, be a hundred percent sure what your requirements are. The Sennheiser HD 280 pro's are studio monitoring headphones. Means that each and every little sound and tweak wil be delivered. These are not loud by any means. so my suggestion is that you buy it if you are looking for music as it were being recorded.

my view...
voice isolation[pure mechanical] is better than cancellation ,since ,head phone had to produce waves against external sounds.
if u want to use a supraaural u better listen in quite place ,actually ,normal talking causes 65 db, so u prefer to hear in between 70-80 unknowlgly ,its ok,if in midst of noise like traffic its 85 decibel,90 db in subway train,for there u will prefer around 10 to 15 more, according to National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) (1998),exposure more t...

Unparalled sound in its price rance

The only gripe I have with this is the size of the headset cable. Also am not a great fan of the swiveling pockets. The headphone is pretty bulky too.
Note:
This headphone is not meant for the bass heavy listeners. Its actually decent for audiophiles.

This is a brilliant headphone to have when you aren't moving around too much. But with this, movement is going to be a big issue. I couldn't use this comfortably in the bu...

Love the sound quality. Only wish it was a little bit more comfortable.

Excellent product. Very comfortable and great soung quality... If you are looking for a headphone for your day to day music listening, you may not like it because it is a professional headphone designed for studio recording FM broadcasting and other sound related needs.

Great headphones for their price
They are actually the best for their price. Please don't expect it to be very bassy and cool. They are studio monitoring headphones.
The playback frequency is also pretty good. But only the mid are a bit disappointing. The build quality is good and made out of really good plastic. The cable doesn't get tangled very easily. More over they are over ear headphone and provides good sound isolation. These are the best headphones I have seen that meets up my every requirement

Sennheiser HD 280 PRO is an awesome product from Sennheiser. Made for pure audio listening and professional Recordings. It delivers clear audio, especially midranges. Sennheiser HD 280 PRO is a very good and very, very reliable entry level headphone. Very good build quality. Buy only made in Germany, Austria or Ireland. Huge difference in terms of quality between Sennheiser India and Sennheiser Europe. Especially in cord quality, build quality even in internal hardware quality.
