Q:What happens if the Transformer fails in alarm , is ac power directly goes into the water tank through the wires which we used for sensing water level?
A:No current can travel towards water tank. When transformers fails it stops supplying power to sensing circuits, also there are safeguards built into circuit as well.

Q:What will happen if the inbuilt transformer is burnt. Will the current flow in water?
A:If transformer is burnt, no current will flow in circuit as transformer output and circuit will not be be receiving supply. So sensaswitch is totally safe.

A:It is operated by AC mains, not required any battery. The product itself wired (2 wire) for an input power supply of AC mains. So there is not required battery.
