Defying all the odds a mother tries to survive amidst cruelties and emotional sufferings with a hope to secure her child’s future. However, a mother’s love for her child leaves her in a quandary to choose between selfishness and fairness. Ultimately pushing her to a point where she is willing to give up her only hope, her child… what will her decision lead to?
Well done in first attempt. This book takes you in lesser known world, transition camp. Vikrant ji unfolds this story so nicely that you get engrossed page by page. Fact Note after every section is brilliant idea, it gives insight of ground reality. Although I was expecting the end on similar lines it evolves through unexpected twist. The story ends on positive thought and leaves you with moist eyes.
