The poems penned by DR. Arti Lokesh, collected in the book ‘Shadgandha’ have been composed on many different occasions, depicting various feelings and moods over the period of last 3 years. The compositions are driven by the warmth of sorrows or energy of cheerfulness. The poems of the book are divided into six chapters as per their varied themes. The very first chapter denotes to the devotional poems, whereas the second one blooms with the smell of patriotism. Third chapter is filled with Indian traditions, festivals and culture, fourth one is sprinkling the perfume of heart of a woman and her sensitivity. Fifth chapter is spreading the sweet smell of memories of self-pride and the sixth chapter is drenched with the aroma of the nature. At last, but not the least, the chapter Shadgandh Vatika describes 6 poems in a newly developed vidha ‘Om Akriti’. These six poems are exhilarating all different emotions and thoughts in these poems.
