Her book The Secret, which shows readers how to use their thoughts to shape their lives, became hugely popular and was adapted into a film. Her books have been translated into many languages and published around the world. She has also authored The Magic.

She has been recognized as one of the most influential people in the world after the success of her book The Secret. Time magazine included her in its list of the hundred people who play an important role in shaping our world.
