She's a Jolly Good Fellow is the story of Second Lieutenants, Anju and Deepa, among the first few women to join the Indian Army. Set in 1994, the story is weaved around the struggles of women in a male-dominated world. Deepa and Anju get commissioned into a remote army unit in distant Bengdubi. Although they have strikingly different personalities – Deepa is more officer, morally uptight and confident, while Anju is all feminine and lady like, they are like the proverbial chalk and cheese.
