Shirdi Ke Sai Baba  (DVD Hindi)

Directed by Ashok V. Bhushan and starring Sudhir Dalvi, Manoj Kumar, Rajendra Kumar and Filmfare Award-winner Hema Malini of Sholay fame, Shirdi Ke Sai Baba is a Hindi devotional film. The plot of this inspirational flick follows Pooja, her husband (a doctor) and their son who falls seriously ill. Though Pooja’s husband insists that their son is admitted into a hospital, Pooja believes that Sai Baba’s blessings will cure the young lad. Eventually, when Pooja’s son regains consciousness for a brief duration, he asks his parents to take him to Shirdi, the sacred town where Sai Baba once dwelled. Hence, the family embarks on a pilgrimage to Shirdi with the hope that Pooja’s son will be cured. In Shirdi, an avid devotee of Sai Baba recounts the tale of Sai Baba, one of the most revered religious figures.
