He lives in France.Edward Gauvin has received fellowships and residencies from PEN America, PEN England the NEA, the Fulbright program, the Lannan Foundation, the French Embassy, Villa Gillet, the Centre National du Livre, Ledig House, the Banff Centre, the Clarion Workshop, and the American Literary Translators Association.
