Good initial tripod
I bought this a few weeks back and have started using it. A few comments on the same.
Looks/Construction: The tripod looks pretty lean and could have been a bit more sturdier. The construction is okay, but I feel that the plastic locks on the legs need to be pushed strongly to lock and it feels as if the latch may break, if pressed hard. The bottom of the legs do not have any rubber grips, but only grooved plastic. It hasn't slipped so far, but feels like it may.

Hi guys,
I received my order of Simpex 333 today, So thought to share few details
Pros.
> The height is decent but won't reach eye level for a man with decent height(mine being 5.9")
> All the joints are pretty sturdy and won't shake around
> The legs have a good grip and won't slip on marble floor as well
> Almost all the features a tripod need are there.

Simpex is Simple
You're getting more then you're paying.
Simpex 333 has lot of features. Almost everything which any other tripod has.
It doesn't matter if your a pro or beginner in photography. it suits both people. It's not the tripod which makes you a good photographer. Every tripod does the same thing. It's your skills which makes the difference.

Don't expect too much from this one
It's a OK tripod for me, not so good, not bad either.
Extremely light weight so their is enough risk of camera falling down. Don't leave this tripod along with camera in a breezy place, while shooting, hold any of the leg with a hand for extra protection.
Spirit level is a good addition, now a days, even 4000/- tripods also don't have spirit level.
You can feel that it is not totally stable if you extend all the legs, and neck to maximum.
One more point, it is not suitable for macro.

Great Product
The tripod is great and the price is just perfect. It has adjustable height, bubble meter and you can move the camera in any possible direction with this tripod. It is light weight yet sturdy made up of aluminum, making it portable. It holds up my DSLR perfectly. Worth a buy if you are looking for a basic tripod, you'll be more than satisfied.

Please read before you make a decision. Not a good buy!
Quite a lot of people have said that this is a good tripod if you are starting. I however, disagree.
The tripod, without any doubt, gives you everything that you would expect in Rs 845. But the thing is that this tripod is only good if you are using a compact camera or those basic handycams.
I own a Nikon SLR and now I feel that I've made a mistake by buying this tripod.

I bought this as I'm a beginner and thought that I should not be spending too much on a costlier tripod.
I would like to say that this is the cheapest one in terms of price and it seems cheap in terms of quality too.
If you do not like sub-standard stuff do not buy this.
If you cannot afford a tripod of more than a 1000 bucks, go for it as it does have all the feature you would find in a tripod twice its price. Everything works fine and its not that anything will break by using.

Good tripod for Beginners
I am a beginner and i wanted a tripod to practice and serve the purpose.
It has all features that a beginner need,the simpex 333 closed is compact once opened to the max it is almost like 5 feet and easily movable.the quick release button is the best feature.
I feel its more than the value for your money.
If u are beginner and trying for a decent tripod go for it blindly.
