About The Authors

Rajendra Kumar Puri is a professor in the Department of Physics at Panjab University. Another book by R. K. Puri is Management Information System.

The author did his Master’s in Physics from Himachal Pradesh University in 1987, and then went on to pursue his Doctorate in Science from Panjab University. He has been a postdoctoral fellow at Universitat Tubingen in Germany and is also a visiting scientist at Universite de Nantes in France. He received the Young Scientist Research Award from the Department of Atomic Energy of the Government Of India in 1996 and was also conferred with a fellowship for two years at the National Institute For Nuclear Physics In Italy.
