Wonderful
The Sony ICF-19 is unusual in a few ways. The most exciting aspect is how great its reception is for this price range…among the very best I have seen in an inexpensive paperback book-sized portable.listening at low levels will dramatically extend battery life and conversely, listening loudly will dramatically reduce it. Another interesting observation is that the BATT light actually gives a fair warning of when the batteries are getting weak.

Gor for one with AC adapter. Battery drains quickly.
Gor for the one with AC adapter as this radio drains battery super fast. You will end up paying a lot for replacing batteries. If you are planning for rechargable batteries then battery + charger is costlier than the radio itself, so not worth.
