Its Double-DIN Display comes with a smaller rear chassis, thereby making it easier to install. It also leaves you with plenty of room for cabling in the space behind the display.
With the presence of Dual USB ports, you can connect your smartphone and a USB device at the same time. So, no more pausing your favourite song to check the directions.
You don't have to run your hands around to adjust the settings. The keys are located at the bottom of the receiver and they give you instant access to basic settings such as the volume, sound, and voice control.
You can enhance the sound by adding an amplifier and a subwoofer by using the three pre-outs.
If you have a rear camera installed, you can press on the rear camera icon. The video will come up on the screen to help you park your vehicle easily.
This player lets you connect your smartphone via Bluetooth to make calls or play your playlist. It is also FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) compatible which lets you play lossless audio files.
It uses digital signal processing and lifts the sound, especially if your speakers are positioned on the lower side of the doors, thereby making it seem like the music is playing from right in front of you.
It is equipped with the Dynamic Reality Amp 2 which paves the way for 4 x 55 W amplification, thereby letting you play music as loud or as soft as you want to.

Cons:
1) not android based os; so cannot install appe
2) no stock apps like: youtube, browsers or Google maps
3) need to connect over original USB cable for Android auto car play to use map navigation in display.
4) video play over USB media only.

1) limited and user friendly menu options
2) features like radio fm, usb, bluetooth, call sync and in display dial are there
3) sound Quality setting and support is good
4) display works well even if it gets heate...

2. In Android Auto, maps works smoothly but you have to subscribe YT music to play song directly from YouTube .You can play YouTube audio ,not video, from mobile. Gaana or any other music app works perfectly. Though Android auto is bit slow. It is fault of Google not Sony . 8/10
