good book. boring cd.

CD(audio cd) could have been better. That is the Less interesting part yet informative (could have been a video cd for more clear Pronunciation) where you learn to pronounce. I like the book. Found the simple tips very useful which is not usually told. You get to learn Colloquial & formal ways for few conversations. Alphabets n more.

Best book to learn Spanish

Hi everyone, I am a student of class 11th, commerce stream and bought this book because I liked Spanish songs by Marc Anthony and wanted to know Spanish as it sounded really good :P so I ordered this book and started reading it, now i have completed the first 4 chapters and I really know proper Spanish... The provided CD is awesome and the whole package is a must buy for eager learners :)

its just a great book who want to get interested i a new language, and as every1 knows spanish its a great language to start with..

Only good for casual learners

If you are just faintly interested in the language and want to be conversant in common Spanish exchanges, then it cannot get better than this book. It is very easily explained and illustrated with shortcuts to sounding like a native Spanish. BUT, if you are dreaming a career in this language or would like to learn the language like your mother-tongue, please don't waste your money on this book. Go find a good instructor.

got what i wanted

there is probably no one for miles in my place who speaks Spanish. so i don't really need to learn it in a professional way. i was just interested in learning the basics and some day to day usage so that i could understand some of the Spanish i see in movies . for that purpose the book is very good. good quality paper and printing and the presentation is also very good and keeps you engrossed .

Excellent book for starters

Bought it for my 8 year old kid. He is already started to talk small sentences like "how are you" and "what is the time" in Spanish. A must buy book if you are serious about learning a foreign language. We all know about FOR DUMMIES. Pronunciations for all the basic Spanish words are given to ensure easy and fast learning. A compact disc comes with this books that enables you to listen to the actual pronunciation of the words and phrases.
