Spectroscopy deals with the theoretical and technical aspects of spectroscopy and also includes the advances made over the years within this field.
Summary Of The Book
Pavia, Lampman, Kriz, and Vyvyan's Spectroscopy provides a basic introduction to the notions, theories and concepts dealing with spectroscopic science. This is a learning guidebook for students.
Spectroscopy is that branch of science which deals with the study of interaction between radiated energy and matter. Prior to this, this would deal solely with the study of light. This text deals with the modernized version where the frequency and wavelength of light is replaced by radiated energy. The data that is collected through spectroscopic methods are often showcased with help of a spectrum.
This book contains a comprehensive understanding of the different elements of spectroscopy. There are different modern processes like the NMR spectroscopy has been included in this text. There has also been extensive discussion on the mass spectrometry. A separate chapter on the biological molecules has been stated with respect to this.
The different spectroscopic methods have also been mentioned in the book. Aspects like Hector, COSY, DEPT and more also been dealt with. New spectrographs have been included so that the students are able to study and understand the accurate illustrations.
