This is the first book I've read in the Lars Kepler series and any book by a Scandinavian author. I must say I'm impressed. Although you lose a bit of the pace because of the translation, the story still moves along rapidly. It might be a bit difficult to get a grasp on the Scandinavian characters maybe because we are so used to British and American writers and characters. A:It's a translation so some of it feels disjointed. But mostly it's pretty basic English. But pronouncing the Scandinavian names is a bit tricky
