The gaming mouse has 8 buttons in total. These include the left- and right-click buttons along with a scroll wheel. The dpi rocker is placed behind the scroll wheel. 2 buttons are placed on the left side of the mouse, just where you place your thumb. 2 more buttons are available on the right side.

Weighing just 98 g, the XAI gaming mouse has the dimensions of 68.3 X 38.7 X 125.5 mm. A LCD display is available on the backside of the mouse that allows you to make different changes in settings. This is a helpful addition as you don’t have to browse through the software to make simple changes in the mouse.

You need not worry about wires getting entangled as the SteelSeries XAI comes with a 2 m anti-tangle braided cord. You can easily connect the mouse to your computer through a USB port. The buttons available on the XAI mouse are programmable. The mouse has a cpi range of 100 - 5001. The wide range of the cpi gives the mouse more speed and quicker movement. Equipped with a polling rate of 1000 Hz, the mouse is able to provide you with a response time of 1 ms. The low response time ensures faster feedback to all your commands.

Power fluctuations won’t be a bother with the XAI mouse as it has a gold-plated USB connector.  You can use the mouse on almost any surface. You can easily change the precision and sensitivity settings with a click of a button as the SteelSeries XAI allows you to create 5 game profiles.
