    About Amit Chaudhuri

    Amit Chaudhuri is an Indian author and an acclaimed musician. He has penned five novels. He is the recipient of the Commonwealth Literature Prize, the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, the Betty Trask Prize, and the prestigious Sahitya Akademi Award. He is also a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, a greatly valued critic, and the Professor of Contemporary Literature at the University of East Anglia. He lives in Kolkata and Norwich. His latest novel is The Immortals.
