Generally saying, is because 10% of 32GB were reserved for ECC purpose, so as to enhance the reliability of our products. That is why you see a difference. Actually no amount of space is lost. Generally, the capacity that is advertised (e.g. 32GB) is a decimal number. What the user see in the PC is a binary number - it differs in such that 1000 bytes in decimal equals 1024 bytes in binary. So the binary GB's are only about 95% of the real world decimal

Dude that is going to happen with all Memory Cards or Pen Drives. Does your 8 GB pen drive show 8GB space empty when there is nothing in it? Obviously not!! Whenever the pen drive has to mount itself or the memory card has to mount itself onto the connected device, it has to have a certain program that will tell the device to which it is connected what it actually is! It is like a VISA or Passport that tells other countries of your identity.

I once formatted my pen drive completely from Back...

Better than the rest!

I bought it from Flipkart a few months ago, working well on my Samsung GS3 as well as on my Sony Cybershot HX-300 (Bought from Flipkart). Has not given me any trouble yet except for the heating issue. The product is a best buy if you have a smartphone and love watching and recording HD Content on it!
I would rate this product on the following Criteria as
Speed : 8.5/10 (Sandisk proves to be faster)
Build : 9/10
VFM : 9/10
Flipkart Delivery and Warranty : 9/10

Best memory card for the price

I've been using Strontium product in recent times & found them to be very reliable even though the brand was rather unheard of in India

This particular Micro SD card only added on to my faith in Strontium and i will continue to buy their products in future as well

PROS:
1. It's the cheapest 32 GB Class 10 / UHS 1 Micro SD card claiming a read speed of 70 MBs

2. It gave a real world speed of about read speed of about 21 MBPS read & about 14 MBPS write on my humble 'Moto E' - this could be ...

Quite fast!

Flipkart delivery was quick.

I tried copying 900 MB of songs + a 700 MB video between the laptop and this card (in phone). The Write speed varied between 12 MB/s to 15 MB/s. The Read speed was considerably faster.

I then inserted the card directly into my laptop's card reader slot - the Read speed was astonishing - 900 MB of songs copied from the card to the laptop in 2 seconds, the 700 MB video file took only 1 second.

Recommended for the Rs 1525/- I paid - I only hope it stays reliabl...

worth every star

brilliant product, made in taiwan and at an affordable price jut buy it. good read and write speed. mine came with a free backup software and it actually saved my data when my nephew accidentally deleted all contacts from the memory.

Fast faster fastest!!

i have recently purchase "Strontium 32 GB Class 10 Nitro" mem-card which is working fine. Flipkart service is very good.
About Card:
Card Works in motorola in moto G, Moto Raser-I, Samsung S-duos nicely...
Speed is good , i can experience improvement in transfer speed.

Good but...

Its a good choice among the available Class 10 micro sd cards.cards. I've been using this for more than 6 months now. But the first one that was delivered to me malfunctioned within 2 days of purchase. But it was replaced within 2 days by Flipkart. Write speeds and read speeds are good as mentioned on the website. Overall a good product. If you are not very keen about the brand then you can go ahead. Its comparable to the Scandisk Ultra which is around som 400-500 Rs. costlier...
