"Super 8" review!
Well,to be honest the main reason I bought the DVD was the killer deal-I mean,wow,They're giving it out for a fourth the MRP,which is GREAT.Now,coming to the movie-this one's pretty underrated,got to say-people don't give this movie credit for the movie that it was trying to be-a feel good,well directed tale of a homesick alien.No,it's not ripping off ET,no(The director and D.O.P says so in the audio commentary)-it's got Spielberg as producer,so it's more of a homage...that being said,this is...

Great product. Got to me in time and perfect condition. Good price.
The movie is a back to the basics kind of film for people who grew up watching films like The Goonies, ET, Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Well acted, the ending was a tad dull.

good clean old fashioned thriller
After a long time we are confronted with a thriller surrounding teenagers, trying to make a movie with their trusted super 8. Their language is quite profane but what do you expect from teenagers.
The climax is a little tough to swallow but what the heck this is not kurosawa otherwise excellent direction with good performances makes this a apt Sunday afternoon watch..
