This was recommended by Dr. Dray so I bought it! I have acne-prone, dry skin. I use this as my first cleanser on days when I've just been at home and hardly have any gunk on my face or days where I don't feel like using a cleansing balm. I can't comment on its ability to remove makeup since I don't wear any but it definitely gets out(quite well) the several layers of sunscreen I apply throughout the day.
