Summary of the Book

Clark Kent is having a hard time. He has no follow up story to the story that launched his career at the Daily Planet. “S is For...Superman”, his exclusive interview with the Man of Steel, earned him his job, and the envy of the star reporter, Lois Lane. However, the Daily Planet has no idea that they’ve been cheated. Clark Kent hides his alternate lifestyle underneath a complete disguise which he wears like a second skin. He has been doing this since childhood, trying to fit in by appearing normal. He has been trying to disappear. However, his alter-ego, the Kryptonian called Superman, is anything but normal. He is constantly trying to help people, constantly trying to prove that he’s only trying to improve their lives. Naturally, no one believes him. When an energy-stealing creature appears in Metropolis, Superman rushes to fight him, but the creature zaps all of his strength. Can Clark Kent find the strength to stand up on his feet and return to the battle, or will he give up and try to disappear into the crowd once again?
