Systematic Nomenclature of organic compounds aids chemical communication through the presentation of methods and their use in forming reasonable, acceptable, and unambiguous names for organic compounds. It describes in a common language so that the nomenclature is made useful and understandable for both undergraduate and graduate students. A diagrammatic presentation is given to create interest in the topic along with a comparison of different nomenclature operations for some compounds with some typical structures.
