just purchased the lense
first expression - very good.
lense looks premium and first few shots I took was great .
very good response
motor a bit slow I suppose compare to premium lenses
but at this price this lense worth 5 star.
in very high zooming a slight noise is excceptable .
a 100-400 premium lense of cannon costs around 145000/-
so this one is a great package for beginners as well as enthusiastic photographer. a complete package .

Just got the lens and started to use it. Preliminary impressions are that the lens is well built and appears ok. The vibration reduction at 2.5 stops is not that good, but it is manageable,could have been better. No other issues and I am satisfied with it.
