This is the most amazing lens which I have come across. it's range is highly versatile I.e. it gives you liberty of clicking pics in wide angle as well as zoom lens. with this lens you can solve your problem of changing the lens from wide angle to telephoto. Hood is included in the packaging so you don't need to buy separate one. lock mechanism is also there to lock the desired focal length.

Extremely happy with the performance. I am attaching two files for comparison. one is on 18mm and another at 400mm with hand held only, no tripod used. vibration reduction realy works. gives an enormous range to capture the same frame. a real traveller lens. only con I found a little bit heavier to hold in hand, but only one lens is always lighter than a bunch of lenses in your kit while traveling. good and sharp image. worth every penny ☺👍👌

Bought this lens on 18.5.2019.
I am using the lens on my Nikon D5300 mostly for wildlife/bird photography However, I am experiencing Chromatic Abberation problem in autofocus mode. Unless you are uber patient and prefer to use manual focus ring for your important pics, do not go for this lens. If it is for Wildlife photography then this is absolutely not your cup of tea. Unfortunately, even my return period is over so I have to put up with some unwanted stuff in my closet!!
