If you're enterting the world of wildlife and sports photography and can't afford the expensive high end lenses, go for the Tamron 150-600. It's a lens that is made for heavy duty wildlife and sport photography, at a very reasonable price.

The lens comes with Vibration Compensation, which is just awesome because the lens is heavy. Handheld use takes time to get accustomed to. I've shot at as slow as 1/200 (handheld) without getting nearly any visible shake.

Bought this from a local retailer after trying out a few other options like sigma 150-500mm. Have been using it and all I can say is..for the price, it is absolutely outstanding!
