    Great lens for the price range

    I was looking for a budget lens with decent zoom and good macro. Being an amateur, I didn't know which one to choose. A friend of mine suggested this Tamron lens. I ordered it and got it the very next day (awesome service by Flipkart). Considering the price, my expectations were not too high.     Excellent entry-level multipurpose zoom lens. I purchased it with my Canon EOS 1100D (T3) DSLR camera. Very good all round performance at both ends. Synchronises perfectly with the autofocus function. Lightweigh and easy to carry. Macro function available between 180-300 mm.

    This is a good telephoto lens from Tamron. This lens does its job of telephoto. I have not yet explored this lens to it fullest, but initial photo findings have been pretty good at the price that this lens is selling for.

    The Tamron AF 70-300mm Digitally Integrated LD Macro Lens is designed for both full frame and APS-C sized Canon Digital SLR cameras. It has an effective zoom range of 112-480mm for Canon cameras. With such a high-performing lens, you can expect to take professional quality images with little effort.

    The first thing you will notice with this lens is that it is very light for its capability and weighs around 435 grams. The lens is also fairly compact when the camera is at 77-117mm . The overall length of the lens can extend to 237mm at its 0.5x macro setting.

    The Tamron AF 70-300mm lens is most effective between 70mm and 200mm. You can expect to capture sharp long shots when you choose a higher aperture for a smaller depth of field.
