The piece I received was "Made in China" if it was "Assembled in China" that would be fine.This shows that the piece is not generated in Japan but wholly produced in China in which I am doubtful of it legitimacy of the product because "Tamron" officially produce this product from Japan on which the product should have been labelled "Made in Japan" I don't have problems with the origin when it is quality checked.
