Highly recommended
I was looking for something that could be used to extract data from my broken old laptop. I found this and ordered. The sata port of this adapter goes into the sata port of your HDD. For power, just connect the usb A port of your device to the usb slot of the pc where you want to extract data. Totally does the work for my 2.5 inch internal laptop HDD. Speed is not very overwhelming, standard read speed of 30-40MBps. Go for it without a doubt.
