About Yashavant Kanetkar
Yashavant Kanetkar is an Indian computer science author, columnist, and speaker. Kanetkar has written books like Let Us C, Visual C++ Programming, Let Us JAVA, Data Structures Through C, UNIX Shell Programming, Understanding Pointers in C, and Interview Questions In C Programming.
The author completed his BE from VJTI, Mumbai, and went on to do his M.Tech from IIT-Kanpur. At present, he is the Director of KICIT & KSET Pvt. Ltd, Nagpur. Excellent book!
Before you refer to this book you should have a fairly good knowledge of C. This book has chapters which covers most of the different aspects of C, which you probably might not come across in your everyday coding life. When we code, we tend to do it in the "correct" manner. Only in an off case do we end up with a bug and then go deep down to understand why that happened.
This book opens the doors to getting more understanding the beauty and subtlety of C! Mr. Yashwant Kanetkar...

This book is good to clear your concept but my suggestion do not straight-away jump to this book.. First read a text book of OOP/ C . then go through this book. Content of this book is presented in questions-answers format.. These will clear your concept only if your have read the textbook.

Great Book For C++ Learners
Don't think much just go for it. Yashavant Kanetkar is the best author for C and C++.
