Sambamurty, Senior Reader, Department of Botany, Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi, has been teaching Genetics and Taxonomy to B.Sc. (Gen.) and B.Sc. (Hons.) students for the past three decades. He has participated in several Indian and foreign symposia, seminars and congresses. He is a Fellow of the Genetic Society of India and the Botanical Society of India, besides being a member of several scientific bodies. He has authored more than 15 textbooks for B.Sc. and M.Sc. students of Botany.
