Textbook of Extension Education (English, Paperback, Sahay Satwik)

This book is intended for the college students who may not yet encountered a course in extension education. Thus, it is really an “Introduction” to extension education. It is not intended to develop any new theories but introduce the students with the existing knowhow in this area. Extension Education courses have been introduced in most of the agricultural universities for students of agriculture, horticulture, forestry, home science, veterinary science, dairy science, engineering and fisheries. The Indian council of Agricultural Research has recently revised the syllabus for the graduate students and added new dimensions to the courses. This syllabus is made common for all the universities in India. With the inclusion of new courses in the syllabus the old books on this subject became obsolete. The need for new books with recent concepts and information became the need of the hour. It is hoped that this book will be helpful to these students in a preliminary understanding of this subject.
