The book, ‘A Textbook of ISC History for Class XI’ is divided into two sections – Section A (Indian History) and Section B (World History). The salient and unique features of this textbook can be listed as follows: • Very simple and lucid language has been used throughout the book to facilitate the understanding of the students as well as the teachers. • Subtopics given at the beginning of each chapter give a complete overview of the chapter. • A list of all the important years and dates is provided in chronological order at the end of each chapter. Hence, students will find it easy to memorize the important years or dates required for the examination. • Around eight to ten sample objective questions and answers as per the requirements of the latest ISC Question Paper pattern have been included in each chapter. Such model answers are very rarely found in any of the present books.
