About Joshua Waitzkin

Joshua Waitzkin is an American chess player, martial arts competitor and author. He was recognized as a prodigy when he was a child and won the US Junior Chess championship in 1993 and 1994. He has been the only person to win the National Primary, Elementary, Junior High School, High School, US Cadet and the US Junior Closed chess championships in his career. Searching for Bobby Fischer is a movie based on his early life.
